I’m an old school retired teacher and I agree 100% with all your posts! There is one thing I think you missed here, though.
This is an elementary student. Parents know what kind of attire is allowed at school, and this one apparently knows even more personally, if this is a third infraction. Why is an elementary student being allowed to leave home dressed inappropriately?
I know about the tricky change of clothes that can happen after the student leaves home, but repeatedly in elementary school? This parent is in for a very rough ride.
I taped a hall pass to the back of a book in hopes to encourage reading...but I don't want to name the book because I'm not sure the author would take it as a complement that their life's work is a bathroom pass.
