Society needs rules to function smoothly. Problems exist when society scoffs at the rules. If you have time, try to read “How Green Was My Valley” by Richard Llewelyn. It’s about a mining town in Wales. There’s a scene in the book that describes how the town polices themselves, and didn’t need policemen because they took care of any issues. But there soon came the day that they had to employ law enforcement when too many people decided they didn’t need to follow the rules. Great post!
